I'm Rick S., the breeder behind Mini Doodles Dandy located in Creston, OH. Our program includes choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Started with one mom and fell in love with having puppies. We wanted to teach our kids responsibilities with having their own chores to complete associated with having dogs and breeding them.
  • What makes your program special?

    Very small breeder who specializes in good communication and the willingness to make the adoption as less stressful as possible for you and the puppy. We send updated pics and or videos of your puppy weekly in most cases. We desire to hand deliver them within three hours of Creston, OH.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Rick

Rick has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rick partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Adoption is normally $2250 but good be lower depending on time of year and overall demand. Normally deposits are non refundable but we have refunded a lot of deposits because we strive to be reasonable and love working with people that are reasonable as well.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
