Meet the breeder

I'm Lara M., the breeder behind Mini Goldendoodles of NY located in Queens, NY. We are a responsible home breeder. Our dogs have DNA screenings and pass the OFA health exams. We are breeders who do everything we can to better the breed and ensure our dogs and puppies are able to get the very most out of life. We carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible.

Q. & A. with Lara

  • Why did you start breeding?

Lara’s family bred silky terriers for years. It’s a wonderful, rewarding experience. When the last of our Silkys passed (19 years old!) we knew we wanted a hypo-allergenic, kid-friendly breed. That’s how we found Lola, our Petite Mini Goldendoodle.
  • What makes your program special?

Our environment and dedication to our pups. Lola is our baby, she lives with us, in our home as a part of our family. We breed for the love of the breed and to promote good health and a friendly temperament. Our puppies are well socialized with other dogs, cats, and children, and learn to sit before they leave us. We also offer a 2-year health guarantee against genetic defects.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Double Doodle puppies are miniature size. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
