I'm Mandy K., the breeder behind MK German Shepherds LLC located in Rutland, MA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. While our goal is to share loving puppies with families, we are still a selective program. We only breed when we’re sure we can produce the healthiest and best example of the breed possible.

What makes your program special?
I’m a In-Home German Shepherd Breeder. Our puppies/dogs are a part of our family and live in home with us and are raised on a curriculum by BAB. We do ENS and ESI with our puppies starting at 3 days old-16 days old, and do 10 step handling daily starting at 3 days old plus much more. It’s all about raising exceptional puppies for health, temperament and ability.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include long, plush, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Mandy
Mandy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Mandy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Price includes- AKC Registration, 30 Day complimentary pet insurance, 3 year health guarantee, dewormed, first vaccinations, microchipped, vet checked and go home puppy pack with lots of goodies! Deposits are applied towards your final puppy price and are non-refundable, but transferable to another litter for up to two years from the date received.”

She has a strong, balanced structure with a calm, confident temperament that perfectly represents the breed. Nova’s gentle, affectionate nature makes her a joy to live with, while her intelligence and willingness to please shine through in everything she does. We’re expecting her future litters to produce both stock coat and long coat puppies in a range of rich colors, including solid black and deep mahogany/red with stunning black masks. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
