I'm Sarah B., the breeder behind M&M Shepherd Farms located in Watervliet, MI. Our dogs are bred for temperament, health, and confirmation. We study lineages very closely. We are a small kennel and all of our breeding dogs live in our home and are family.
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved animals and nature. Science and biology was always my favorite in school. I love studying genetics and learning everything I can! My passion for animals and learning with such love for this breed is what inspired me to start my program.
What makes your program special?
We are much different than a lot of breeders out there. Our dogs are welcome on our furniture, in our bed, on our couch, and are family! Our dogs see the vet yearly, and are very well cared for. They receive Birthday and Christmas presents. We feed top of the line food, and they even come on trips with us during the rare times we can get away! We have 20 acres they get to run and play on.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, isabella, black and red, blue, and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
