I'm Edie W., the breeder behind Mockingbird Hollow Bassets located in Saint Cloud, FL. My name is Edie and I’ve loved basset hounds for as long as I can remember. I got my first basset years ago and I now have 3, each unique in personality and spoiled completely rotten. We started our breeding a few years ago with a focus on healthy, happy, family pets with loving disposition.

Why did you start breeding?
We started with two beautiful basset girls a few years ago and always considered them good quality for breeding. Last year, we invested in our own male and decided to let nature take its course as to if/when breeding may happen.What makes your program special?
I focus on the health of my animals first and in doing so, that should translate to healthy puppies. We do not push for breedings, and instead limit it for the health of momma, breeding no more than once a year.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The Price includes a vet-certified healthy puppy, with current vaccines, microchipped, AKC registration and puppy care kit. All puppies are the same Price, regardless of sex. size or appearance. You select the puppy from those left available at the time of deposit.”

Edie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Ruckus
Ruckus is all puppy at heart. He’s two years old and is NOT the typical lazy basset. He loves his ball and playing with toys and driving his girl-friends crazy with playing. Lounging around, Ruckus has to be touching you, with his leg of half sitting in your lap. He LOVES attention and is a huge love-bug.
