I'm Rebecca B., the breeder behind Monkota Setters located in Michigan. We love English Setters and currently have litters from our sweet girl Tess who comes from a championship blood line - (Tekoa Mountain Sunrise). We care for our litters dutifully to ensure they go off to their forever homes socialized, curious, and with a head start on potty training!

Why did you start breeding?
We decided to breed Tess due to her strong bloodline and excellent temperament. She had 10 pups her first litter that so many who’d purchased a puppy absolutely raved about as both loving companions and excellent hunters that we bred her a second time!What makes your program special?
We’ve had English Setters for 25 years and they’ve always been mixed as both companion dogs and hunters. We’ve never kept our setters kenneled and see often a night and day difference between our dogs and the kennel kept, strictly hunting dogs that many breeders and friends have. Tess has excellent manners, never runs off, is calm, and extremely loving and loyal.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include orange belton and blue belton and tan (tri-color). Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rebecca
Rebecca has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $700 - $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes registration, first round of vaccinations, de-worming, puppy socialization, and a head start on potty training due to breeder setup. We will not hold puppies w/o deposit and will only hold for two weeks before you must arrange pickup and full payment.”
Contract & health guarantee
Rebecca may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
