I'm Michelle S., the breeder behind Moose Crossing Anatolians located in Alaska. Our goal is to produce pups of sound mind and body with great dispositions able to transition well from the farm to home life. We decided to start a responsible, in-home breeding program in order to produce quality farm dogs that also fit into a home setting. We focus on breeding dogs that have enough drive on the farm to keep up with our lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
Rio alone convinced us that we would love more and wanted to promote the breed in AK with all the farms that could benefit. Our pups are now in AZ, MT, WY, CA on amazing farms, in Fairbanks AK protecting a Husky dog team & in many home protecting their charges. These are the most versatile animals we have ever met. We don’t breed a lot, we breed for a beautiful, quality representation of the dog.
What makes your program special?
We invite you to meet us and our dogs, to see for yourself what makes us special.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
