Meet the breeder

I'm Kenny R., the breeder behind Morning Star Malinois located in Goose Creek, SC. Veteran-led breeding program focused on health, stable temperament, and functional structure. Q. & A. with Kenny

  • Why did you start breeding?

After years in professional K9 work, I became focused on producing dogs with sound structure, stable temperament, and true working ability. I inherited and expanded an established lineage and committed to elevating the standard through health testing, careful selection, and responsible placement.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are raised in a structured home and kennel environment with daily engagement and early development foundations. We prioritize health testing, clear temperaments, and functional ability. As trainers, we understand what families and working homes truly need, and we breed with purpose, not volume.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are fawn sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kenny

Kenny has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Kenny partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 10 weeks old.

"Puppies are matched at 10 weeks once temperament, drive, and structure can be properly evaluated. Placement decisions are made by us to ensure the right fit for each home and the long-term success of the dog."
