I'm John R., the breeder behind Morning Star Malinois located in Portsmouth, VA. We raise, train and compete with our dogs to provide a test of capabilities and an understanding of temperament. We produce working line Belgian Malinois puppies that are placed with buyers who have had experience with working breed dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
Family continuation.
What makes your program special?
We spend a great deal of energy working our dogs and we spend a great deal of time with each litter and individual puppy making sure that they are conditioned properly to continue to meet expectations of the buyers. We also stay in touch through social media with all of our buyers to make sure that they receive information current with the breed!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include mahogany and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
