Q. & A. with Andrea

  • Why did you start breeding?

There is just not enough alloted space to explain how I became a breeder on here but I am happy to share my story with families. Very different breeds that most won't understand how I ended up with both but rather you're an owner of the Rottweiler or the Sheltie, You will understand. Turning my love into a passion where I can share such love with others is a feeling that can't be described.
  • What makes your program special?

I have sacrificed a "normal" life to dedicate my time, love and attention to my dogs and raising puppies. Offering lifetime breeder support for your family, sharing the love and joy with your new baby once they have left my home. A well bred, stable minded, lifetime companion from a reputable breeder where puppies are raised with love among children and other pets is simply indispensable.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Pomsky puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Toy Shetland Sheepdog puppies include sable & white, sable, black & white, and blue merle. Shetland Sheepdog puppies include white blue merle, white black and tan, white and sable merle, sable merle and white, black and white, sable and white, blue merle white and tan, blue merle and white, and black white and tan. Pomsky puppies include gray and white, black and white, and merle. Rottweiler puppies include black and rust and black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

It was an honor working with Andrea from Mountain High Kennels. She is very knowledgeable, has excellent communication, and overall provided the comfort that you may seek. This has been one of the best experiences of my life, and I can’t thank her enough for this beautiful blessing of a Rottweiler that goes by the name of “Creed”. Thank you so much for all your time and help throughout this process. It has been a pleasure to add a family member to our home, and he has been the missing piece that makes the family whole. We will be forever grateful!

I got my Pomsky, Sequoia, from Andrea, and I couldn’t be happier. From the very beginning, she was so helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about the breed. You can truly tell how much she cares about her dogs — it’s not just a business for her, it’s a passion. Andrea went above and beyond to make sure Sequoia and I ended up together. She sent me regular updates, photos, and so much information about her as she grew. She helped me understand her personality and temperament so I felt completely prepared to bring her home. Now that Sequoia is with me, I can honestly say I’m in love with her. She’s everything I hoped for and more. I’m so grateful to Andrea for all the care and heart she put into this — it made all the difference.

Andrea was OUTSTANDING! She shared her knowledge of the breed and many details about our handsome puppy, who came home with us 2 days ago. She was kind and patient with our many questions, staying in close touch between the time we inquired about him and the day we picked him up. She even drove many miles to meet us half way. Her experience and care were obviously. She provided health information and a care package that set us up for success. Our boy Viper, who we call Valentino (Tino) is the perfect mix of calm/gentle and energetic/playful. He was instantly loved by the humans and canines in our family! We highly recommend Andrea! ❤️🐾
