Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica C., the breeder behind Mountain Legacy Samoyeds located in Morgan, UT. We own Mountain Legacy Samoyeds! When you adopt a puppy from us, you’re not just adding a pet — you’re welcoming a lifelong companion full of loyalty, love, and smiles. For over 35 years, our family owned and operated kennel has remained passionate about the Samoyed breed and the joy these beautiful dogs bring into a home. Our Samoyeds are part of our family, raised with love, care, and daily interaction. We believe in responsible breeding, focusing on health, temperament, and preserving the incredible qualities that make Samoyeds so special. I am a member of the Samoyed Club of America and the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program.

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was born into a family that loved Samoyeds. My mom had an allergy to most pets growing up until my parents discovered the hypoallergenic Samoyed breed! I grew up helping exercise, feed, train and breed this gorgeous animal and knew I wanted to carry on the legacy with my children.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Samoyeds are not just pets — they are part of our family, raised with love, care, and daily interaction on the homestead. Thus, they are great with people, small children & other animals! Our goal is to give each puppy the best start to life in a nurturing environment - surrounded by children, play, and affection. Our dogs receive proper handling, training & grooming on a daily basis.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

As first time owners we really appreciated Jessica's help throughout the process. She cares about her puppies very much and we are glad we found our pup through her. She is also very transparent throughout the process which really made everything smoother.

This was our first time looking for a purebred puppy to join our family and Jessica could not have been more helpful. She set up a FaceTime call right away to show us all the puppies and understand more about Samoyeds, the parents, environment the litter is growing up in, and understanding our needs and family dynamic. Once we decided on a puppy, Jessica kept us up-to-date on how our puppy is doing, sent pictures and videos, and answered any questions as we went along. It's clear these dogs are loved and well cared for. Thank you for the newest addition to our family!
