Amethyst, mom
Saint Bernard
About Amethyst
Amethyst is a 3rd generation baby here at Mtn Valley! Amethyst has a spectacular temperament and is such a delightful girl to be around! She loves the attention in the show ring as spends most of her days wandering our farm and LOVES going to work with mom at the pet resort we own and operate! Amethyst has put all of her heart into her very first litter of puppies and has done a wonderful job rearing her litter of 3!
Ditka, dad
Saint Bernard
About Ditka
Ditka is a super special boy with a phenomenal disposition. He loves his mama and is such a gentleman around our farm and when he "goes to work" at our pet resort where his inner puppy comes out while he plays the day away!
Bruce, dad
Saint Bernard
About Bruce
Bruce is a male Saint Bernard. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Shantelle decided to make him part of their program. Shantelle has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Sully is a robust guy who is incredibly intelligent and a wonderful protector! Sully enjoys prancing about in the show ring in AKC conformation events where he does well meeting new people and other dogs! In Sully's spare time, he enjoys keeping an eye on our farm and alerting us of all of the sights and sounds coming close to his boundaries!
Creedence, mom
Saint Bernard
About Creedence
Creed was born here at Mountain Valley Saint Bernards and has been on the go since birth and has has a tremendous following since coming back to us. Unfortunately Creed's show career abruptly ended after her run in with a mountain lion however in my opinion this certainly is not a deal breaker as she brings so many qualities to our program and the breed overall! Creed is a phenomenal working girl and does NOT slow down one bit! She defines work ethic and drive every single day and we are always blown away by this gal. All of her babies have exceptional temperaments and are beyond gorgeous. With Creed's side of genetics, I will say that her offspring do mature slowly which is a bonus in many aspects, however keep this in mind when you are looking for a show prospect puppy.
Priscilla, mom
Saint Bernard
About Priscilla
Priscilla is one of the sweetest girls we have ever had the pleasure of loving! Pris is a huge girl with nothing but eagerness to be loved and cuddle! She is a giant teddy bear, literally. Priscilla enjoys short walks on our farm where she checks on our kids 4H critters, romps around with our other dogs and basks in the sun on our decks.
Porscha, mom

About Porscha

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
