Meet the breeder

I'm Amy M., the breeder behind M&R SKYHAVEN SAINTS located in Paramount Long Meadow, MD. Our Saint Bernards are raised in our home with our family and children. We focus on breeding for sweet temperaments and healthy dogs. Our dogs are health tested through Embark and raised with daily handling so they grow into loving, gentle family companions.

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up around dogs, but I always wanted Saint Bernards because of their gentle and loving personalities. After having my own dogs and seeing how amazing they were with my family and kids, I decided to start responsibly breeding so other families could experience the same kind of dog.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised inside our home and handled daily from birth. We focus heavily on temperament and raising dogs that are calm, gentle, and great with families. Our dogs are health tested through Embark, and our puppies are socialized early so they grow into confident family companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
