I'm Aislyn N., the breeder behind Muddy Paw Acres located in Gouverneur Ny 13642, NY. We are a family-run breeding program, where our dogs are pets first, and treated like family! I have five children who are very hands-on with our puppies from day one. NY Lic 1204.
Q. & A. with Aislyn
Why did you start breeding?
I've always been a "go big or go home," kind of person...with whatever Im doing in life. 😂 After deciding to breed, I dug through all of the research and learned all about health testing, genetics, marketing, and that is how Muddy Paw Acres came to be. We now breed Bernese Mountain Dogs and Golden Retrievers, as well as a fantastic mix, Golden Mountain Dogs.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are all handled daily and get lots of socializing. I have a Facebook page, Muddy Paw Acres, where our followers get to see our every day life, weekly pupdate pictures and live videos to watch their puppies grow! We know how important it is for families to be involved in their puppies first eight weeks of life, and our Facebook page makes sure that they get to be as involved as possible.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black rust and white and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We imported Hugo from Romania at a year old after he had been shown and won several champion titles. His build is blocky and big boned, and his tempermant is that of a teddy bear.
Rachel is a female Bernese Mountain Dog. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Aislyn decided to make her part of their program. Aislyn has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
