Mueller’s Bassets

Sarah M.

Breeder of Basset Hounds

Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah M., the breeder behind Mueller’s Bassets located in Rothschild, WI. My focus is on maintaining the Basset Hound standard by raising structurally sound pups with excellent temperaments and great health. We breed only after thorough research and health testing of parents. Puppies are socialized with children and other animals. We want your family to adore Bassets as much as we do!

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs. I wanted to be able to offer puppies that come from healthy, social, and well-cared for parents.
  • What makes your program special?

In order to give my puppies the best start to their lives, I begin puppy socialization while they are with me, and I am careful to provide a healthy environment in which they can thrive. We offer support for the life of the puppy. We want your puppy to be a permanent and very loved member of your family and will do whatever we can to help!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
