I'm Kristen M., the breeder behind Mumma’s Standard Poodles located in Mc Connellsburg, PA. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We focus on the proper development of all our puppies because we know that each one is unique and deserving of undivided love and attention. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. At Mumma’s Standard Poodles, beauty is a given, but producing healthy, loving, and versatile Poodles and Cavapoos is our true goal.

Getting a puppy from Kristen
Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Kristen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I lost my dog of 12 years after a long illness. I missed having a dog so much! I tried to adopt but couldn't find little dogs like I wanted that were available and not so traumatized they could be a good fit. I always wanted a Cavalier, but they're a little too big, so I went looking for a Cavapoo and found Kristen on Good Dog! She answered my queries right away and we texted back and forth. I felt like I got to know about her and her family and how they raise their puppies as part of that family. They have so much care and love for their dogs. And they were so helpful in arranging pickup, even driving part of the way to meet us since we were quite far away from them. And Kristen was very careful about who she would let get her puppies, really getting to know us and even video-chatting with us. Since we got Colby (he's completely black, like coal) Kristen has been helpful, asking "new mommy" questions since I haven't had a real puppy aged dog in 20 years! It's been challenging, but worth it. I couldn't have done it as well without Kristen's breeding, raising, and loving such wonderful pups, or her help in bringing a new member into our family. Breeder was really communicative. I am glad I went with my gut instinct and went with Mumma Standard Poodles. The breeder cares about her puppies and where they are homed. I did a virtual meet with the breeder before paying. I met the puppies, the dam and the dam's mother. I was given health data and photo of the father. All happy and healthy dogs living in a family environment.
