Nit scared of the leaf blower, in fact, it might be something to play with!

So these pictures tell a story, or rather continue a story I already started. This morning before church I gave the dogs (the big dogs) their breakfast of raw chicken drumsticks. Sheba was back in the house suspiciously quickly so I checked the puppy pen. As I walked to the pen, Sheba scooted past and jumped in attracting a hoard of hungry puppies. However I noticed one little pup who was off to the side sounding rather ferocious. Well, as they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words so I will let the photos take over from here. Let’s just say that Emma/June maybe tiny but she is fierce! I have a feeling that other pups joined in after Sheba left because you can see that they did a good job stripping a large drumstick!

The puppies had gotten out this morning and I posted a video on FB. When I pulled up FB on my laptop, Sheba was confused and concerned that her puppies were stuck in the computer.

When you think you are hungry but Mama says you have had enough

I know, not the best picture but by the time I thought that you all would find this interesting, it was too late. Too be honest, it wouldn’t have been a great picture, regardless of how it was taken, because it wouldn’t have been a picture of regurgitated dog food. Eeeww. See, that’s why I didn’t grab for my camera. But this “Eeewwww” actually represents an “aawwww”, and here’s why. Earlier today I set a brown of puppy food on the kitchen counter to soak. When I went to feed the puppies, the soaked puppy food was gone. Granted, it had been an hour or so since I set it to soak, and I had made an airport run to pick up my husband, but bowls of dog food doesn’t generally go missing. Unless you have a mama dog who is always hungry and can see on counters. After a search, I found the empty bowl with the spoon still in it!! sitting at the front door. Mystery solved. After I made a fresh batch of puppy food I took it up to the puppy room and found that mama had already taken care of things. She left a pile of regurgitated puppy food - her stolen treasure - for her puppies to eat. Unfortunately, it was outside of the puppy pen so they weren’t able to get to it, but it’s the thought that counts, lol. So there’s the story. A smart devoted (tall) mama who sacrifices her snack for her puppies. What a good girl.

Happy Labor Day! Here in puppy-land, it’s a great day for puppy chores. Pups were weighed, wormed, toenails trimmed and puppy pen cleaned. Here’s photo evidence of how everyone is growing.

2 weeks old and getting so big! Sheba is all smiles after splurging on Moon Pies and Pecan Spins this afternoon 🤦🏻♀️ 1 boy and 4 girls still available.

Bad Sheba! Bad dog!!! I was gone for 30 minutes this morning and someone was VERY naughty. Yesterday i stopped by the local bakery outlet and got a box of Moon Pies and a package of Pecan Twirls, among other things. When i returned home I found the Moon Pie box - still in the bag but opened - on top of a pile of pillows. (The pillows are on the floor because of a little boy - not dog.) There are crumbs and FOUR empty Moon Pie wrappers on the couch and floor. And empty Pecan Swirls package on the floor. While I can’t be certain it was Sheba, I will explain my reasoning. 1)Tessa is blind and would not be able to find the food on the counter. She might walk around with her nose in the air, dreaming of confectionery capers , but would fail at the actual snatch and grab. 2) Walker has a very low center of gravity and can barely jump on a low sitting couch. Standing on his back legs to gently remove a bag of goodies, carry them into another room and then get them out one-by-one to eat on the couch, is just not in his skill set. Also, Walker is not food motivated and is suspicious of any food, needing to stare at it before gingerly tasting it. 3) Sheba can see on the counters and thinks that obviously if she can see it, we are happy to share. If we didn’t want Sheba to have something, CLEARLY we would put it out of her reach. 4) Sheba didn’t get her chicken quarter this morning, and was reduced to eating kibble. 5) Sheba has 11 puppies who are hungry all the time. 6) Sheba doesn’t think she is a dog but does think she is a Southerner who deserves Moon Pies. So, you be the judge about which one of these doggies was a very bad dog this morning. Now I just have to explain to the human child why the special snacks that he picked out have been depleted by 2/3s.

About Hazel
Hazel is a sweet affectionate girl who is used to being treated like a queen. She lives with her goldendoodle sister, Ruby Lane Glitter Sparkle, and 2 high-school human sisters. This is Hazel's third and final litter and we are very excited to see these puppies!

Goldendoodle
About River
River is a super sweet, affectionate and responsive gentleman. He lives in a guardian home with 3 girls and River is gentle enough to cuddle, but also happy to run and play in the backyard. He has a fine bone structure and looks similar to a moyen poodle when given a short haircut. Great conformation, temperament, color and personality makes River a stud that Music City Goldendoodles is proud to call "dad" to many of our puppies.

About Sheba
Sheba is an amazing girl! Super smart, affectionate, empathetic - this girl is almost perfect. Her height allows her to push her head into my hand as I walk, assuring me that she is right by my side. Sheba got her name because she has an exotic and elegant look and attitude. I had planned to place Sheba in a guardian home, but we fell in love and she became one of the family. Technically Sheba is a tri-colored phantom girl, but she looks like a black/white tuxedo. With her genetics we are very excited to see what color pups she will have; with her temperament, we know that her pups will be outstanding. Sheba's first litter produced 9 pups, 4 of who are being trained to be service dogs.

About Ruby
Ruby is a sweet gentle girl who loves to spend her days keeping her people company as they work from home. When the house is empty of people, Ruby and her "sister" Millie keep watch of things and make sure the couch doesn't get too cold. You never know when the people may get back home and they obviously need a warm place to curl up. Sweet Ruby is such a good mama and her puppies inherit her gentle nature.

About Spencer
Spencer is the son of our retired "super stud" Jack, and Spencer has filled his father's footsteps with gusto! He's an amazing boy who lives in a family with another dog and several teenage children. Spencer's bff is the mom of the family who has MS and Spencer acts as her emotional support dog. His color is beautiful, what we call a "red caramel". A liver nose and hazel eyes give Spencer's wavy coat make this boy a super model when it comes to goldendoodles. Spencer puppies inherit so much from this doodle daddy - which is why Spencer is the new "super stud" at Music City Goldendoodles

Great experience all around. I had friends who had gotten puppies from Jennifer so I was pretty familiar with the process. It was clear from our conversations that Jennifer was well-versed in all things goldendoodle and that gave me great confidence in her as a breeder. Highly recommend!

Jennifer is very responsive and answers all questions no matter how small they may seem. Planning pick up was super convenient for my family and I as she met us halfway in Louisville. We were given some items from the litter and everything was as promised. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
