I'm Misty M., the breeder behind Mythos Kennel located in Statesboro, GA. We offer top-quality GSDs with great workability! Our dogs have all genetic health tests done by Embark that are tailored specifically for the breed! They also get evaluated by a trainer for temperament and workability. I strive to provide a well-rounded dog who can be used in all lines of work!

Why did you start breeding?
A lot of my friends had German Shepherds growing up and I always loved working with the dogs. About a year ago, I got really involved with my own dogs and began titling them! Artemis’ breeder and I discussed breeding when I had purchased her and shortly after that conversation, I decided breeding was what I wanted to do!What makes your program special?
I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs. I focus on breeding dogs that have enough drive to keep up with a working lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

"The price includes some basic obedience training, deworming, puppy shots, and socialization! The deposit will be the same for all of our puppies. The deposit refund may vary depending on the situation. The price varies depending on which kennel club the dog is registered with."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Pituitary Dwarfism, Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
