I'm Jill Chase, P., the breeder behind Naissur Kennel located in Peyton, CO. Naissur Kennel is a breeding partnership between Patty Bartley Shonts, Jill Chase, and Lian Chase. We are preservation breeders that breed to the written standard. We produce top-quality companions and conformation prospects. Naissur Kennel is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Black Russian Terrier and Russian Toy. Our dogs are bred to excel in sports and show.

Why did you start breeding?
A consistent love for the Black Russian Terrier breed and dog training encouraged the beginning of Naissur Kennel. It is an honor to represent this breed and the Russian Toy, allowing us to create opportunities for others to experience the joy we have found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. Our ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be wonderful family companions.

They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $3,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes AKC registration, 30 day health insurance, vaccinations and deworming appropriate to age, Puppy Culture, temperament evaluation, 3 generation pedigree, puppy care package, microchip. Deposits are required and non refundable once the liter is born and availability is confirmed. Deposits are not taken on unborn liters. Candidates are put on a waitlist until a puppy is identified.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
