I'm Liz K., the breeder behind Nakawe (nah-COW-weh) Samoyeds located in White Bear Lake, MN. My personal motivation with breedings is to breed an attractive, breed-type head with balanced function, structure, movement and sound temperament.Pups will have been exposed to other dogs, different types of people, different places, sounds and car rides.

Why did you start breeding?
Love of the breed. A strong desire to do what I can to maintain and improve type and function in our beautiful breed.
What makes your program special?
We do not breed often. We carefully select the parents of each litter based on pedigree, type and function (movement). We follow the Puppy Culture Protocol to help enable even-temperament, curiosity and confidence going into their forever homes. We do this for the love of the breed. This is not about making money, but finding the best fit in a loving and caring home for puppy and adopter.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and biscuit and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Liz

Liz has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Liz partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Puppy prices include between $3,200 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This includes 2 sets of shots completed by 10 weeks. An ophthamologist eye exam at 6 weeks. Puppies are chipped and AKC registration is provided. Puppies come with a health guarantee.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
