I'm Nancy P., the breeder behind Nancy's Basset Hounds located in Clio, MI. We are freedom farms basset hounds, we breed European basset hounds at our rural farm. They live with us in our home as family. We breed for the standard basset hound confirmation, with health and great personalities. Well socialized, Great family dogs, loving, healthy beautiful dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
I think with a background in showing horses it gave me a need to have quality animals, dogs meet the breed standards. Not just a dog or horse but one that is put together correctly. So I think naturally you start to breed to get the best you can.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white, black white and tan, mahogany and white, black white and brown, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Nancy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nancy partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I let people pick their own puppie in the order the deposits come in. I do not usually interfer with customers pick, unless i feel the match is just not going to be good for my pup.”
Price
“The pricing is dependant on the sire and dam. My police is 100.00 to hold your place in the picking order for your pup and will hold that pup until pick up at which time balance is due.”
