I'm Kelley W., the breeder behind Nation Goldendoodles located in Maquoketa, IA. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Goldendoodle puppies and poodles that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of a Golden doodle or poodle with other individuals and families! We breed our golden doodles and poodle for health, temperament, intelligence, and color. They are home raised, nurtured, and loved by us until they go to their new homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have been breeding Golden doodles since 2018. We love this breed and cannot imagine our lives without them. We know that you will fall in love with them too.

  • What makes your program special?

    We do all we can to prepare our puppies to meet their future family's needs. Our Golden doodles and poodles go through extensive health testing and cognitive development skill training. We strive to breed puppies that can be with you while jogging, going on walks , laying on the couch, kayaking, swimming or participating in an agility trial. Our versatile Golden doodles and poodles can go anywhere and make great companions or service animals.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kelley

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,750 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Kelley was so wonderful to work with! Always responsive, would send any additional updates but always posted at least weekly. Answered all our questions and could really tell she works with the puppies prior to getting them to their new homes. Our puppy is almost fully potty trained in just over a week of having her. She’s also loves her kennel already! Only whimpers to go out. My two boys LOVE her! The transition was flawless! Would recommend Kelley and Nation Goldendoodles to anyone!

    Kelley was a blessing from first day in making the decision to get a Golden Doddle. She was there through the whole process Kelly is kind and a very dedicated person to her puppies.     Words cannot describe how happy I am with my puppy Ella! I am so glad I found Kelley. I actually found her through the AKC search, which linked me to the GoodDog site. The app was a great way to meet my breeder, place my deposit, finish my payment, and coordinate pick up. Kelley was, and still is, so responsive. She understands this breed and just what her puppies need. She is loving and gentle with these pups and it really shows! It didn’t matter when I reached out, she was quick to respond back. I put my deposit on Ella when she was around 12 days old. The entire time Kelley kept me up to date. I was kept in the loop while I was waiting until she was old enough to come live with me.     Wonderful experience. Kelley was excellent to work with, she was informative and extremely patient.
