I'm Iris F., the breeder behind Noah's Ark Gordon Setters located in Levittown, NY. I am dedicated to breed for Beauty, Brains and Birdsense. I breed for health and good temperment. I CHIC screen not only for diseases recommended by the GSCA, but also for diseases in my line.

Why did you start breeding?
My second Gordon was a bitch, Nimue, also purchased from Fran Glynn. Fran mentored me through breeding. This simple gesture by Fran, and meeting breeders on Long Island, who invited me to attend their bitch's whelp evolved into my becoming a doggie midwife on Long Island for other breeders, (Newfoundlands, English Setters, Norwegian Elkhounds)
What makes your program special?
In over 35 years of being involved with Gordon Setters, I breed selectively. This is my eighth litter in all these years
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Tiger is only 22 months old. He is very sweet and playful. He lo es to play with his puppies. Tiger is well on his way to completing his AKC show championship as well as his hunting titles. Tiger has all of the Health clearances

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Sebaceous Adenitis (SA), Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, DNA Repository, Hereditary Ataxia, Cerebellar Ataxia
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
