I'm Laura B., the breeder behind Normandy Bouviers located in Norman, OK. We focus on breeding Bouviers that meet the AKC standard, have great temperaments & are healthy. Our dogs are raised in-home & on a farm & are loved like family. All sires & dams are OFA health tested and all breedings are paired with the intention and goal to continually improve the breed.
Q. & A. with Laura
Why did you start breeding?
Growing up as a child we had several breeds of show dogs. After retiring & many years of working, training & breeding for police dogs, I met two Bouviers in person & immediately fell in love with the breed, a breed I grew up only seeing in books. We regularly compete in AKC, UKC, and international conformation shows so we have a genuine understanding of what makes a Bouvier special.
What makes your program special?
Our goal is to produce beautiful and healthy dogs. Our dogs are all health tested and have extensive accomplished pedigrees. Great temperaments are most important. There is really no reason to breed any dog with a poor temperament! We value buyer education and ensure you are matched with the best puppy to fit both your family and your lifestyle.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, black, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
