Meet the breeder

I'm Nicole D., the breeder behind North Cascades Doodles located in Chelan, WA. We treat our dogs and puppies like family, and we give each pup all the loving care that we can to prepare them for their forever homes. We are proud of our program and look forward to helping you find your next furry family member!

Q. & A. with Nicole

  • Why did you start breeding?

The first litter was just going to be for fun because one of my most fond memories as a child was when we had a litter of 12 dalmatians when I was in kindergarten. I wanted to have the same experience and memory for my kids so we were just going to have one litter. I realized very quickly how much I myself loved it, was passionate about raising healthy well-rounded dogs. So what started as a single litter “for the kids” turned into my own deep passionate love. Now 6 litters later I STILL love it!
  • What makes your program special?

All of our puppies are raised in our home from start to finish. They are socialized handled and spoiled from day one. We do all of the early neurological stimulation, socialization, desensitization and early potty training.. our adult dogs are raised and live in our home or in a guardian home. They are not kenneled.. we do genetic testing on all of our dogs to ensure they are matched with compatible matches to ensure the highest quality health and temperament.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Labradoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Labradoodle puppies include caramel, red, apricot, and cream. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I got a perfect puppy from Nicole. He is very smart and chill and he is going to grow into a very wonderful family pet. She did a great job so socializing him so he is already pretty confident. Her communication was great and because of the photos and videos, I felt like I knew my pup even before I met him. I am grateful to have such a wonderful dog in our family.
