Meet the breeder

I'm Shauna J., the breeder behind North Ranch Doodles located in Eagle Mtn, UT. Small, in-home breeder with a heart for raising happy, healthy, well-loved puppies. I intentionally raise a limited number of litters so that I can give each puppy the individual love, attention, socialization, early training, and exceptional quality care they deserve. Making sure that each puppy from every litter is healthy, loved, and cared for individually is a priority! My goal is to send each puppy to its forever home in sound health and adored, ready to learn more, adjust to his or her new surroundings, and to be loved even more!

Q. & A. with Shauna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I decided to become a breeder once I got our family pet, Nani. I thought it would be nice to let her have at least one litter so she could be a mama at least once. This was also after seeing my sister have a few litters and realized how special and rewarding it can be - even tho it is A LOT of work! These puppies bring us so much joy!
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised as part of our family, inside our home, from birth to re-homing. With a large, close-knit family, there is always someone coming or going. There's plenty of holding, cuddling, playing with, and loving on our puppies from early on. Each puppy receives individual attention from a variety of family members and friends, helping them become comfortable, confident, and socialized. Desensitization and brain stimulation are a focus for well-rounded, stable, and adaptable puppies. I prioritize health and proper nutrition for mama and her puppies, supporting growing bodies, brains, bones, joints, muscles, teeth, and beautiful coats. Each puppy is examed by a veterinarian for health, given regular de-wormers, covered by all necessary vaccines, and is cleared of any health issues.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, red, brown, apricot, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
