I'm Lynn K M., the breeder behind Northern Maine Samoyeds and Pomskies located in Hamlin, ME. Our motto is "formulate, educate, communicate, populate." We take breeding very seriously and adore each of our dogs! Health and temperament are our first priorities. Our dogs are bred for their sweet disposition and excellent health and longevity. The cost is also a major consideration as well as the mix of bearish and wolfish looks.
Q. & A. with Lynn K
Why did you start breeding?
35 yrs ago, I was given a Samoyed from a friend, in a new city far from home. That Samoyed was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was in love. She was my best friend and I'll never forget her. With that 1st Rustic Glen Samoyed, I knew this was the only breed I would ever own. I moved back to Maine & the time was right to start educating & enabling ME families to own & love this gorgeous breed.
What makes your program special?
I chat with all my new owners. I try to help if situations arise. I do take pups back when life happens, even temp. for free, so they, nor I worry & they can take care of the sit. w/o giving up their pup. My pups are smart, have great temperaments, & are gorgeous. I educate anyone who contacts me. I learn, and they learn. I help out if I can. These folks are family & I love & would do anything for any of them.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
