We aim for the highest possible quality of Weimaraners. thorough testing on both parents including OFA Hips, Elbows, and Thyroid Certifications. We do not breed nor support the breeding of blues. Our dogs are our companions both in the field, water, competing and at home.

What makes your program special?
Our puppies are treated like our babies. They are in the house with us, raised with kids, receive tons of love and attention and playtime. We also begin potty and crate training as well as field work.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Gunner is from generations of champions and OFA health tested and DNA tested bloodlines. He is calm, pure lover in the house and in the field, the most muscular, agile lightening fast hunter around. I’m the fortunate one with this guy. He hails from multiple generations of champions. What a dog!

She is not a “field hunting weim like G- she is sweet, lovable, has the Batman on her chest, pure silver, big ears, long eyelashes and an is too intelligent for her own good. She is by far the most beautiful/ SMART Weim I’ve ever owned. She is also a registered service animal. Intelligence!
Parent health testing
Great level
Northpoint Weimaraners reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Weimaraners.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
