Mark has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Mark partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
"Puppy Matching Policy At Northwest Lagotto, puppies are not chosen — they are matched. Every family on our waitlist completes a detailed application describing their home, their lifestyle, their experience with dogs, and what they are hoping for in a companion. We take time to get to know each family before a litter arrives. On the puppy side, we spend the weeks between birth and placement observing each puppy's emerging personality — who is bold, who is thoughtful, who seeks people out, who is content to explore independently. By the time placements are made, we have a clear picture of each puppy as an individual. We bring these two pictures together and make the match ourselves. Temperament compatibility is always the primary consideration — the right fit between a puppy's character and a family's life is what produces the dog our families describe in their testimonials. Sex preference is taken into account wherever the temperament match allows. Color preference is noted but carries the least weight in our decision — a puppy placed in the wrong home because of coat color serves nobody well. Families trust us to make this call, and we take that trust seriously."

Lagotto Romagnolo
About Tia
Tia is a brown roan female, three years old, and one of the most complete Lagotto Romagnolo we have produced at Northwest Lagotto. Adventurous and confident in the field, affectionate and settled in the home — she is exactly the dog this breed is meant to be. She works with the focused intensity of a dog who takes her nose seriously, and comes off the field and folds herself onto the couch without missing a beat. Playful, people-oriented, and steady in temperament. She is the kind of dog that makes you understand why people fall so hard for this breed. Tia is fully health tested: OFA hips and elbows, OFA eyes, and clear on the full Lagotto genetic panel including BFJE and LSD. Her litter by Mousse is expected late April. Every puppy raised at Northwest Lagotto is born into the Puppy Culture protocol — neurological stimulation, early shaping work, and manding established before they leave us. Families receive lifetime breeder support and full health documentation. We do not place puppies with every family who applies. Applications are reviewed individually and placements are made with the puppy's best interests guiding every decision. If this is the litter for you, the time to apply is now.

About Mousse
**Mousse – Stud Male, Northwest Lagotto** Mousse is a beautiful white and brown male with outstanding structure, balanced proportions, and fluid, effortless movement. He represents the classic Lagotto Romagnolo type we value in our breeding program—athletic, well-built, and naturally elegant while remaining sturdy and functional. Beyond his physical qualities, Mousse is known for his exceptionally gentle spirit. He has an affectionate disposition and a calm, easy-going energy that makes him a joy to live with. Mousse forms strong bonds with people and naturally seeks connection, greeting family and visitors alike with warmth and quiet confidence. He carries the hallmark intelligence of the Lagotto breed while maintaining a relaxed, cooperative temperament. Mousse is attentive, responsive, and content to be part of whatever his family is doing—whether that’s exploring outdoors or simply relaxing together at home. As a stud, Mousse contributes excellent structure, balanced movement, and the steady temperament we believe is essential in the breed. His puppies consistently inherit his affectionate nature, gentle personality, and strong connection to their families. Mousse is a wonderful example of the Lagotto Romagnolo: sound in body, kind in spirit, and deeply devoted to the people around him.

About Ginger
Ginger is one of the foundational females in our breeding program at Northwest Lagotto. She embodies the classic qualities that make the Lagotto Romagnolo such an extraordinary companion—intelligence, warmth, and a joyful spirit that seems to brighten every space she enters. With her rich, curly coat and expressive eyes, Ginger has the unmistakable look of a true Lagotto. More importantly, she possesses the temperament we value most in the breed. She is affectionate and deeply people-oriented, forming strong bonds with her family while remaining gentle and patient with children. Ginger is confident but not dominant, playful yet calm in the home, and highly intuitive to the moods of those around her. True to the breed’s heritage, Ginger shows excellent scenting instincts and curiosity about the world. She loves exploring the outdoors, using her nose, and engaging in mentally stimulating activities. At the same time, she settles beautifully indoors and enjoys nothing more than being close to her people. As a brood female, Ginger contributes more than just beautiful puppies—she passes along the balanced temperament, intelligence, and loving nature that define the Lagotto Romagnolo. Her litters are known for their friendly personalities, trainability, and strong connection to their families. Ginger represents exactly what we strive for in our breeding program: healthy, well-structured Lagotto with exceptional character who will thrive as beloved members of their forever homes.
