Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
My grandmother was an obdience instructor, a 4h leader , bred and shown her own Irish setter. I was 9 and started in 4h then at 12 I showed in akc Jr. Handling and since made my career out of showing.
What makes your program special?
We strive for temperament since we are a dogshow family . We have always wanted to have a well bred tempered dog. Irish setters get a bad rap being crazy and not so smart. Our dogs have always been a family adventure . Our son and daughter have shown their own dogs and our daughter co bred a few litters and work as an assistant handler for us .
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
