I'm Julie B., the breeder behind Nota Bene Whippets located in Lebanon, OH. I enjoy Whippets for their athleticism, beauty, and ability to hold down a couch. I love dog sports and participate in several. My puppies will have the best of foundations to begin their lives as pets and companions.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
It took over 20 years! The short answer is that I am breeding my bitch because she has a lot to offer the breed. I will not be a frequent breeder; I have a personal limit to the number of dogs in my household!
What makes your program special?
I’m not special; I’m just dedicated to my dogs and the breed. I have been a member of AWC, I am a volunteer for Whippet Rescue and Placement, and I have been a researcher of health and pedigrees from the beginning.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
