I'm Betti N., the breeder behind Nugents Bernese Mountain Dogs located in Myrtle Point, OR. Each puppy is greatly loved by us! We ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. Our dogs are bred for those specifics, and we take pride in our breeding program. Q. & A. with Betti
Why did you start breeding?
We have always been invested in the well-being of animals, and we dearly love Bernese Mountain Dogs. We decided to start our own breeding program so that we could share with others the wonderful experience of owning these incredible dogs! It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and we are so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to ensure they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

It was an incredible experience from the moment I expressed interest in our newest furry family member to the moment we held him in our arms to take him home.
Betti was thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring of her litter. The pickup process was warm, welcoming, informative, and extremely efficient.
It is evident that we brought home a puppy that was loved and cared for in its early stages and we are thrilled to continue that love and support for a lifetime. Thank you Betti and Tom at Nugents Bernese Mountain Dogs!
