I'm Tray H., the breeder behind Oak Run Kennels located in Baconton, GA. We are a small family-owned and operated kennel in South Georgia. We focus on breeding only the best of the best and provide lifetime support for our customers. We compete with our dogs and will do all that we can to help new owners compete on a high level as well.
Q. & A. with Tray
Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding to maintain and improve the pointing breeds due to seeing many dogs through training from other breeders that had lost the natural ability to be successful and competitive hunting dogs.
What makes your program special?
We focus on healthy dogs with an exceptional amount of natural ability. We also make sure all of our dogs are mentally stable and trainable before even thinking about adding them to our breeding program. We only consider the top 1% of the breed to be acceptable to be bred. We have many years of experience with our dogs and have lots of references to how well our dogs are taken care of and the labor that goes into our program. When you choose us you have our support for the life of your dog and well after that as well.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
