We picked up Shatzi on August 1st 2025. Kari was amazing with all the information she shared and answered all questions we had. Shatzi (aka yellow collar girl) is the most loving and wonderful puppy we could have asked for. At 6 months she already knows to stay on the grass and not walk onto the street. She is protective without being aggressive. Out vet lovers her as do our neighbors. As her teeth are coming in they are straight and beautiful. I would and have highly recommend people to check Oakmont Shepherds every time they say they wish they had a German Shepherd with her temperament. She has made friends with other dogs in the neighborhood. Just the other day she was on a walk and some boys were playing basketball. This was her first time seeing this. She did not bark at the kids at all and was very gentle as the kids came close to meet her. We also enjoy taking her in the car and truck. She loves going along with us and sits or lays down and enjoys watching what is going on around her. We have been complemented on her not barking like a lot af the dogs that live near us. We couldn’t be happier with our beautiful girl. Her favorite place is a park where she goes every morning to run around 4 miles and to continue her training. She also loves shorter walks during the day and evening.

Kari is an amazing breeder - truly delivers on temperament. Our cute girl Suki has only been home 4 days and sits beautifully on command, slept 5 hours in her crate (no accidents) last night and is a curious, confident ball of energy. Loves people and snuggles. Is definitely going to be a ball girl. Thank you so much Kari for our pre ious Suki!!

We searched for a few months for the right fit of a GSD Breeder. Kari at Oakmont Shepherds more than took care of our needs. This is our first puppy from a breeder and we had a lot of questions regarding health and temperament. We were looking for a long haired/ low drive GSD to be a companion to our 8 year old mild tempered GSD mix. Kari gave us reassurances about the health of the parents and that comforted us a lot. We identified a few possible puppy candidates and Kari helped share a bit more information about them. That’s how we found our boy Gustavo or Gus. His parents are Torin and Ember and he was born on 8/17/25. He’s looking a lot like Torin at 3 months old. He has such a sweet disposition, and he likes to look at you and study your face. He’s the perfect dog for us, and Kari was delightful to work with. If you’re in search of dogs with sweet temperaments, she can help.

I was searching for a breeder that specialized in low to medium drive German Shepherds. Kari at Oakmont delivered! This was my first time buying a puppy from a breeder and Lari was responsive, thoughtful and more than willing and able to answer my ten million questions! The entire process was painless and very informative! Rainier has been settling in very well with the family! She’s an incredible addition!

I wasn’t sure if I would find the dog I was looking for on Good Dog website. However the site offered numerous breeders with valuable information in regards to pedigree history. The health records provided are one example of reputable breeders and their concern for healthy pets. I committed to purchasing a wonderful dog from Kari because of her availability with answering my questions by messaging or by phone in a timely manner. She was very polite and has a pleasant personality. I will recommend this site to others.
