I'm Katlyn W., the breeder behind Oakridge Kennels located in Piedmont, SC. We are dog lovers through and through! Our dogs are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with [BREED] puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!
Q. & A. with Katlyn
Why did you start breeding?
As I mentioned, I never knew I wanted to breed until I got my first doodle. He made me fall in love with the breed as a whole. I thought he was the perfect dog. After that I started doing research and kept falling in love. Then I realized breeding was for me. I wanted to produce healthy puppies with great temperaments so every family that contacts me can have the best fit for them!
What makes your program special?
My fiancé and I work very hard to gives our dams, sires, and puppies the absolute best care. Our puppies are home raised around children, adults, dogs, cats, etc. We make sure each puppy gets the love, care, socialization, and training they deserve! We also try to work with families to make sure they are getting the puppy that is the best option for their family!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, merle, and parti. Poodle puppies include black, brown, cream, parti, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
