I'm Traci, the breeder behind OCGoldendoodles located in Orange, CA. I have been breeding since 1990. Over the years my goal is to produce puppies with the highest standards possible. Temperament, conformation, and intelligence are key ingredients to a wonderful companion. With many homes having pools, pool safety is a must. Our puppies start swim lessons at 6 weeks.
Q. & A. with Traci
Why did you start breeding?
As a kid I never had a dog. Once I bought my first home, at 22, I started with two huskies. Then I wanted to show.I started breeding to get that perfect confirmation & temperament for a show dog. Over the years the reason I breed changed. I still breed for health, conformation & temperament, but its the joy they bring to others that really makes me want to breed for the betterment of the breed.
What makes your program special?
I go above and beyond for my brood bitch and the puppies. Mom is fed an optimum diet including fresh meat, veggies, eggs, etc. for maximum health and growth. I am an extreme advocate of health testing. Mom and Dad have OFA certified Cardiac, Hips, Elbows, Patella & Eyes. They also have extensive DNA testing for diseases. Pool safety is important. Our puppies start swim lessons & sunbathing at 6 weeks of age.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
