Why did you start breeding?
My husband Bob was breeding Irish Setters when we met. We looked for a hunting setter breed that still maintained high hunting instincts. In 1977 we flew to Ireland to meet Mrs Cuddy and her " Gorge." The hook was set.
What makes your program special?
We breed the whole dog with an emphasis on hunting. Our dogs are sought out to represent the breed including in AKC's Gazette Jan 2009 issue introducing ths breed to the fancy, Craig Koshyk's,Pointing Dogs Vol ll, The British and Irish Breeds, David Blake Knox's The Curious History of Irish Dogs, AKC's 21st Edit of The Complete Dog, The NY Conservation Magazine,The Upland Almanac Magazine 2019.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
