I'm Sylvia Y., the breeder behind Odyssey Pups located in Somerset, OH. Our puppies are hand whelped and family raised from day one. Each puppy is vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed prior to leaving for new homes. Focusing on socialization, with a variety of different surfaces and experiences to assure easy transition from our home to yours.

Why did you start breeding?
For almost 3 decades I was a caregiver to my mother who suffered from MS. After she passed away and my children were half grown, I found I had time to pursue my dream of raising puppies. I soon realized this was an ideal project for myself and my children. What better to do with my spare time than sharing the love of our four legged companions with other families?What makes your program special?
With owning only a few adult dogs, I am able to devote attention to each dog individually. Our puppies receive hands on care from birth to the time they leave at 8 wks old. We also litter box train to make house training easier for you. I believe healthy, happy mamas produce healthy, happy babies. I do my own grooming and enjoy potty training puppies. Our Poodle puppies are miniature size. Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Sylvia has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
"Puppies are sold and covered under a 2yr health guarantee. Each puppy is vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped prior to leaving our home. We do send home a starter kit with each puppy. Deposits are non refundable but always transferable. The deposit will be deducted from the total price of your puppy."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If anyone has a minute to jump over to the “new owners stories” and let me a review I’d be grateful. You folks are my best form of advertising. 😁 We are all well at Odyssey. I retired Jules and she’s doing well with a wonderful older couple. And!! I have someone new to introduce in the near future. I lost my head and bought a gorgeous little female poodle. I’m pretty excited about her. 😁

Sandra is a beautiful girl with a sweet, gentle nature. She is somewhat shy with strangers but very affectionate with those she loves. She is a superb mother and I am very pleased to call her mine!

Ava is a sweet, well mannered girl. Her coat is a unique bleed of red and brown with light colored highlights. She is around 21 lbs and has a good built with long legs and a solid chest. She is very social and affectionate.

I don’t even have words good enough to tell you how fantastic Sylvia made this entire experience. After long and disappointing research for a reputable breeder I was blessed to find Sylvia and I will admit I thought she was too good to be true! She answered every one of my 13,447 questions and continues to reach out. Atticus and his siblings were raised like Sylvia’s own babies and it is obvious bc that love shines through in Atticus. He’s well socialized and wants to greet anyone within a 20’ radius. Sylvia posted updates on a regular basis and responded to me usually within 15 minutes. She even sent Atticus home w a cute little basket of goodies of which he likes the basket itself most! Potty training is fairly easy bc he was already litter box trained so the move outside wasn’t difficult. Of course as the pic shows sometimes we don’t agree on where things should go! We are already talking about Sylvia’s future litters for Atticus’ buddy. We’ve tried to take a good family pic but we can never seem to get him to stay still for more than 5 seconds. However, I will say that it takes a lot for him to get all that energy out so the naps are wonderful- for both of us! Sylvia and the Good Dog platform are both transparent and helpful and we will definitely do it all over again in the future. Thank you Sylvia 🥰

+8Sylvia was great! She was very responsive to messages and open to all questions and inquiries making an easy transition for myself and the new pup. Between the initial message and pick up, she shared growth photos, important updates like his height, weight, vet visits and even shared updates on weaning him off his Mom’s milk to a healthy formula. She also was very accommodating with the travel to pick up and sent him with starter food, treats, a beautiful blanket and bear. He absolutely loves it and I absolutely love him! Sylvia and Odyssey Pups were the catalyst to me gaining a new best friend, Thank you!
