I'm Nic F., the breeder behind Ohio Down Home Doodles located in Jeromesville, OH. Beginning with healthy, genetically cleared parent dogs who are part of the family, we believe in helping puppies be their best by giving them a great start through healthy puppy rearing, lots of love, and daily puppy curriculum and exposure exercises.
Q. & A. with Nic
Why did you start breeding?
We thoroughly enjoy our poodles and doodles and love the experience of raising puppies that will thrive in your family and be great pets, companions, or service dogs.
What makes your program special?
All of our parent dogs are genetically cleared, and we offer a 1-year health warranty. We want our puppies to fit right in to your family, so we begin early neurological stimulation and handling at 3 days old. We use a puppy curriculum that includes many exposures like car rides, stairs, sounds, textures, people and places. We also start early crate exposure and potty training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
