Meet the breeder

I'm Heather K., the breeder behind Oily Drop Bullies located in Saratoga Springs, NY. Our focus for our program is to create healthy, capable, structurally sound dogs with of course well rounded temperaments. We are constantly striving to do more and do better - we take our accomplishments & reputation in the Breed Community very seriously.

Q. & A. with Heather

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have spent tons of time, researching bloodlines, breeders, history, and health concerns. We have had lots of mentoring by AKC and UKC breeders and have found a passion we never knew was possible in the past, when we found this wonderful breed almost 12 years ago. We have loved the process, and enjoy placing our dogs in loving homes.
  • What makes your program special?

Over our breeding career, we have heavily campaigned in 5 registries. We focus on Temperament and health. We breed for the ultimate best friend, a dog that is healthy to keep up with an active lifestyle AND enjoys snuggle with babies during tummy time. So if you're looking for your next BIG headed best friend, look no further.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver, seal brown, white, fawn, and blue fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Heather is an amazing breeder. She was very responsive, constantly providing updates on my puppy and the whelping process. Dream is now 2.5 years old and not only is she an irreplaceable part of our family, but so is Heather. Heather has been an amazing friend , mentor, and supporter since our very first interaction. I couldn’t ask for a better dog or a better breeder!
