I'm Alan & Dori A., the breeder behind Outbackred Aussies located in Hartford, WI. Outbackred is a preservation breeder of Australian Terriers based in Hartford WI. Established in 1983, we produce heirloom, show quality Aussies, with a focus on temperament, great health, conformation, and structural soundness for the future generations. We show in conformation with the American Kennel Club, and have produced many AKC Champions.

Why did you start breeding?
We attended a show in West Allis and found our first show potential dog. Showed him 5 years, and then purchased a girl to go with him.What makes your program special?
Our mentor was one of the Original Heritage and Heirloom Preservation Breeders of Australian Terriers. We were taught to read and study pedigrees, find the health histories of the potential breeding stock, and follow the Taralee (Australian) Lines as closely as possible.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and blue and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Alan & Dori
Alan & Dori has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $4,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes a 5 year genetic health warranty, all required vaccinations, worming protocol, feeding schedules and starter pack, leash training, crate training, and toys or blankets from home. Pups pricing varies depending on age and gender.”
