



I'm Stephanie D., the breeder behind Owl Grove German Shepherd Dogs located in Seale, AL. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies. All of our adult dogs are hip and elbow tested and have genetic panels completed. We show very successfully in UKC conformation.

“AKC limited registration, contract and health guarantee, age appropriate vaccinations and wormings documented in our puppy passport and a puppy kit with a sample of food, toys, treats and a blankie. We accept deposits once puppies are a week old. Please contact privately for further information and/or a copy of our contract.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
