I'm Lexi & Layton W., the breeder behind Ozark Mountain Kennel located in Conway, MO. Our puppies are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Basset Hound puppies include mahogany and white, red and white, lemon and white, and black brown and white. Dachshund puppies include cream, brindle, black and tan, and dapple. Bloodhound puppies include red, black and tan, and liver and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Lexi & Layton
Lexi & Layton has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price varies based on rights associated with puppy, parents and registration. We do not give deposits back if buyer backs out of said puppy. If the puppy becomes unavailable, deposit is transferred to a different puppy or another litter. It is the buyers responsibility to read this profile and understand this before placing a deposit down.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Lexi was amazing! I live in Idaho and was searching for a bloodhound. With no one breeding them up north, I started searching on good dog. My husband had found his husky on Good Dog. I went to look for me a bloodhound. I found Gabriel under Lexi & Layton. He was beautiful. A red liver with green eyes. I had constant updates about him, pictures and videos. He was growing so quick through the pictures I received and looked happy running around in the yard in videos. It was easy to get everything set up to be paid off and when he was ready to come home it was easy to follow the transport team. I have him home and he does wonderful with my husband, my son, the husky and the cat.

They responded immediately and kept me informed of the dogs status the whole time. They were able to meet my schedule of wanting the dog quickly. Details of receiving of the dog, including evaluation and Dr evaluation and immunization records was provided. We met at the agreed upon time and place. I was handed the dog but they stayed a short time to ensure that the transition was smooth
