I'm Heather F., the breeder behind Pails & Provisions Farm located in Pleasant View, CO. We strive to offer top-of-the-line puppies that will thrive in family homes and out on the farm. Our dogs excel at their jobs! Dogs from our program can excel in a variety of fields, including as livestock guardian dogs. We keep in mind a variety of factors when breeding, including drive, energy, temperament, and structure. Our goal is to produce balanced dogs that will be able to thrive wherever they are needed.

Getting a puppy from Heather
Heather has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Heather partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
"Some pups come out of the gate with a personality that is unmistakable. Others take their time. We like to evaluate pups based on future home needs. If we have buyers who have a certain type of stock, we like to try and expose pup before leaving. If we have a stronger temperament pup who needs an experienced handler, we will not place them with a beginner LGD home."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
