Palmetto German Shepherds

Alley T.

Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Alley T., the breeder behind Palmetto German Shepherds located in Anderson, SC. My dogs are bred for health and temperament above all, but conformation and workability are key goals in my breeding program. Every dog in my breeding program is at least OFA good and must be DNA all clear. It would be my pleasure to help introduce you to your next German Shepherd puppy!

Q. & A. with Alley

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved dogs, I started my “career” in dogs when I trained my own service dog (a German Shepherd) at 19 with no experience. I then started training other people’s dogs. I apprenticed breeding with a Doberman breeder. I decided to get a second German Shepherd and met my mentor, Lisa Walsh (all-breed trainer, and AKC breeder of merit). Lisa has taught me everything I know about GSDs and I continue to learn everyday.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
