Meet the breeder

I'm Ariel C., the breeder behind Pathfinder Pomskies located in Airway Heights, WA. We breed with passion and integrity so we’re able to responsibly contribute to growing this amazing breed. Our program is focused on producing puppies that are healthy, well-structured, and have outstanding temperaments. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!

Q. & A. with Ariel

  • Why did you start breeding?

Being in the rescue/foster world really highlighted the critical importance of responsible and careful breeding. But truth be told, I hadn't considered participating in breeding myself until I was introduced to the Spitz breeds- with the Arctic Spitz (Pomskies) being my entrance. After spending a couple of years under a mentor, my program is finally ready to premiere!
  • What makes your program special?

We underline the importance of not just pretty looks, but temperaments & proper structure- the importance of it and how we help guide our families to the right puppy for them. We temperament test our pups at 6 weeks old and also commit to OFA testing, something not yet common in the pomsky breeder world but we hope to set an example to always raise the standards.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, black and white, chocolate, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
