Meet the breeder

I'm Caitlyn L., the breeder behind Paws Laws k9 located in Wyoming, RI. We have made it our mission to put 100% into each and every litter of puppies that are produced here with us. We strive to produce the healthiest puppies with the best possible genetics and temperament. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy.

Q. & A. with Caitlyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been a huge advocate for responsible breeding. I am a trainer and my husband is in Law Enforcement, we see many Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who are poorly bred and are ticking time bombs. I have made it my mission to be strict in picking my breeding stock, perfecting my dogs, performing all of the necessary health testing and producing beautiful working, yet stable dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We fully health test all of our breeding canines to ensure there are no genetic issues as well as follow all OFA testing. We choose the dogs we feel will produce the best puppies. When our puppies leave here regardless of if they're a Malinois, Dutchie or Mini Dachshund- they've been set up for success and we strive to keep it that way through choosing the best new homes for our puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies include cream, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Belgian Malinois puppies include red sable, mahogany, fawn sable, cream sable, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
