Q. & A. with Eugenia
Why did you start breeding?
Our breeding program was inspired by our amazing Golden Retriever Penny. Penny's sweet disposition is loved by all. When a friend started looking for a puppy for their child they found it challenging to find one that was hypoallergenic and still affordable. To help our friend have the opportunity that we love so much we bred Penny with a Standard Poodle. The pups were born healthy and beautiful! Quickly we had a long list of friends and family members who also wanted one of our pups. From there Penny Doodles was formed!
What makes your program special?
Our program is small, home raised pets in a country home in NM! We plan to continue with a small program because we believe our dogs deserve all the love and spoiling that we can give. They are our family!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We had such an amazing experience with Eugenia-she was so well prepared for handoff, very responsive to questions, and you could really tell she cared about the well being of the pups. Our puppy was partly house/crate trained when we received her, and her transition into our family has been super smooth.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
