I'm Sarah B., the breeder behind Penny's Puppies (Rhodesian Ridgeback) located in Layton, UT. Our dogs are bred for health, beauty, intelligence and athleticism. Ridgebacks need room to run. Land and/or fenced yard ideal.

Why did you start breeding?
We did not plan on breeding and were waiting for Penny to finish growing before we spayed her (as recommended by our breeder.) When she turned two we decided to at least think about breeding down the road and keep that option open. After getting the green light from the vet and OFA testing on hips and elbow we went ahead. Penny has been a wonderful dog.
What makes your program special?
We are only doing two breedings max. If we do second time we will be keeping 1. Haven’t decided yet.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are rd whtn blk nose. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price include health guarantee, akc certification, deworming and age appropriate vaccinations. Once you have chosen your puppy, deposit will hold them until 8 weeks when full amount is due.”

Contract & health guarantee

Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Sarah offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Sarah directly.

About Penny
Penny loves to chase deer or anything g that moves. Yet she also likes to sleep all day. Penny is very tolerant of people and would give you her left leg of it meant a snack was forthcoming. OFA CERTIFIED
