I'm Krista F., the breeder behind Perfectly Playful Doodles located in Marquand, MO. Raising happy, healthy puppies is our passion! Our dogs are part of our family and get plenty of love, snuggles, and attention. All of our puppies begin bio-sensory and socialization training early on, so they are ready to take on the world with their new family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My family has always been a huge lover of dogs! We had a friend who had been a breeder for over 25 years and she convinced us to start breeding! I started my research, and a couple years later, here we are!! The breeding business has been a huge blessing for our family. It's something that we all take part in! It's a true family business. Even the kids help with the training of the pups!

  • What makes your program special?

    We firmly believe that with the right socialization and training, you can have an AMAZING dog! We put in 1000% to make sure that our families are supported through the whole process! We try hard to match each family with the puppy that would be best suited to them, and then provide support after you take him home! We want the transition to be as smooth as possible for our pups and their new families!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Havapoo puppies include chocolate, chocolate and white, and black. Cavapoo puppies include black and white and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Krista

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Krista and the way she raises her puppies. You can feel the difference immediately. Krista, her husband Harold, and their four sons raise the puppies right in their home, which makes such a difference. The puppies are incredibly well socialized, loving, and comfortable around people from the very start. She also keeps you connected every step of the way—sending weekly photos and videos while you’re waiting to bring your puppy home. It made the whole experience so special and gave us something to look forward to each week. Krista puts so much time and care into desensitizing her puppies to everyday sights, sounds, and smells—things that would normally overwhelm a new puppy. Because of that, we brought home a confident, calm, and well-adjusted little dog. No excessive whining, no fearful reactions—just a sweet, curious puppy ready to take on the world. And this part still amazes me… Krista litter box trains her puppies. I was able to sleep through the very first night! Our puppy was content and secure in her pen, with a blanket that smelled like her mom, littermates, and Krista’s home. It made such a difference in helping her feel safe. The next morning, she was happy, relaxed, and ready to explore our backyard like it was her own little adventure. It’s clear Krista raises her puppies with incredible intention, love, and experience.     Krista was a dream to work with. We're first-time puppy parents, and had a ton of questions for her, but she was so incredibly responsive, kind, and caring. She made accommodations for our work schedule, and offered to ship our puppy to us during a time that was convenient for me and my partner, which meant hanging onto him for an extra three weeks. In that interim period, she was in constant communication with us about vet checks, preparing for our puppy, and would often send us videos and photos of him, as well. We had several phone calls before our puppy was transported (all the way from Missouri to California, with absolutely zero issues and an easy line of communication throughout), in which Krista answered every question we had thoughtfully, thoroughly, and generously. She was just wonderful. You can tell that her pups are happy, healthy, and extremely loved. She's even kept in touch after we got our puppy, checking in on his well-being and making sure the transition goes smoothly. I can't recommend Krista highly enough.     I could never put into words how amazing this experience has been! I had been super hesitant about getting a pup for the last 3 years after losing my last fur kid.     Phoebe has been amazing and Krista was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Phoebe is beautiful and has been adjusting so well in our home.     My significant other and I had been looking at cavapoos for awhile and had been messaging multiple breeders for a couple of months, Krista was by far the most responsive, knowledgeable and understanding breeder of them all ! We clicked with her from the beginning; even though her and her family have a very busy schedule she face timed us multiple times sometimes even at the drop of a hat, (When my bf was in the hospital to put a smile on his face, including random surprise pics of his first bath- vet appt after microchipped, -etc . She made us feel as he were a part of our family WAY before even meeting him in person and as crazy as we felt making the 10 hour drive there, Maui was well worth it ! He definitely was in the best hands with them and they even helped potty train him from the start making it much easier for us !
