I'm Krista F., the breeder behind Perfectly Playful Doodles located in Marquand, MO. Raising happy, healthy puppies is our passion! Our dogs are part of our family and get plenty of love, snuggles, and attention. All of our puppies begin bio-sensory and socialization training early on, so they are ready to take on the world with their new family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My family has always been a huge lover of dogs! We had a friend who had been a breeder for over 25 years and she convinced us to start breeding! I started my research, and a couple years later, here we are!! The breeding business has been a huge blessing for our family. It's something that we all take part in! It's a true family business. Even the kids help with the training of the pups!

  • What makes your program special?

    We firmly believe that with the right socialization and training, you can have an AMAZING dog! We put in 1000% to make sure that our families are supported through the whole process! We try hard to match each family with the puppy that would be best suited to them, and then provide support after you take him home! We want the transition to be as smooth as possible for our pups and their new families!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Havapoo puppies include chocolate, chocolate and white, and black. Cavapoo puppies include black and white and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Krista

Krista has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Krista partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes 1 year health guarantee, CKC registration and biosensory training! First round of vaccinations, dewormer, and a goody bag and blanket that smells like mama! There is a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choosing! Final payoff is due before or at pickup.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Krista and the way she raises her puppies. You can feel the difference immediately. Krista, her husband Harold, and their four sons raise the puppies right in their home, which makes such a difference. The puppies are incredibly well socialized, loving, and comfortable around people from the very start. She also keeps you connected every step of the way—sending weekly photos and videos while you’re waiting to bring your puppy home. It made the whole experience so special and gave us something to look forward to each week. Krista puts so much time and care into desensitizing her puppies to everyday sights, sounds, and smells—things that would normally overwhelm a new puppy. Because of that, we brought home a confident, calm, and well-adjusted little dog. No excessive whining, no fearful reactions—just a sweet, curious puppy ready to take on the world. And this part still amazes me… Krista litter box trains her puppies. I was able to sleep through the very first night! Our puppy was content and secure in her pen, with a blanket that smelled like her mom, littermates, and Krista’s home. It made such a difference in helping her feel safe. The next morning, she was happy, relaxed, and ready to explore our backyard like it was her own little adventure. It’s clear Krista raises her puppies with incredible intention, love, and experience.     Our experience with Krista Francis has been exceptional! Once I added "Mossy" to my favorites list, I soon got a phone call from her to answer any questions I had about Mossy, cavapoos, and the process. No other breeder I "liked" a puppy on did this. Once I talked with her and found out all that she does with her puppies and her love for them, her knowledge, and her passion for what she does, I knew that I had found my breeder. And once she told me more about "Mossy" I knew I had found our puppy as well! "Mossy", now Rusty, has been home with us now almost 2 wks and there is no doubt we made the right choice. Rusty is everything Krista told us he was--loving, playful, funny, and beyond adorable!! In addition, Krista has been wonderful in giving me advise on potty and crate training, feeding and every aspect of raising Rusty. Several days after getting Rusty he got constipated as we had changed his puppy food. I contacted my vet but got no answer (they closed early for the weekend), so I texted Krista. Within 15 mins or less she responded with the perfect natural remedy which did the trick! Krista will still be there for you long after the fee is payed and you get your puppy! Do not have any hesitation with using Krista as your breeder. Our puppy Rusty is beyond perfect--so playful, loving, and smart! He has brought so much life and happiness into our quiet house (we are retired). I wholeheartedly recommend Krista Francis as a breeder!

    Bringing home our Havapoo has been one of the best decisions we’ve made, and I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience with this breeder. From the very beginning, she was wonderful to work with, kind, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer my many questions. As a new puppy owner, I appreciated how much information she provided and the support she offered throughout the entire process. It was obvious how much she genuinely cares about her puppies and the families they go to. Little Miss Brooklyn has completely stolen our hearts. She is sweet, playful, affectionate, and has the most easygoing, chill personality. She loves being around people, is always willing to try new things, and has shown so much confidence and resilience as she’s adjusted to her new home. She was the runt of the litter, but you would never know it now! She’s growing big and strong and continues to amaze us every day. One of the things that impressed me most was how well she had been prepared before coming home. She was already so well-mannered, crate trained, car trained and more. Training has been such a positive experience. She’s incredibly smart, picks up commands quickly, and genuinely seems to enjoy learning. Even during this wild teething phase, she has remained a happy, loving little puppy with an amazing temperament. It’s clear that she was raised with care, attention, and lots of love during those important first weeks of life. Not only are we impressed but we get so many compliments regarding her temperament and abilities!!! Looking back, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about our experience. We are beyond grateful for our puppy and for all the guidance and support we received along the way. If you’re considering getting a puppy from this breeder, I can wholeheartedly recommend her. We couldn’t be happier with our sweet girl and are so thankful she became part of our family.

    Phoebe has been amazing and Krista was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Phoebe is beautiful and has been adjusting so well in our home. She has such a sweet temperament and you can tell she was raised with a lot of love and early handling.
